The Shanghai Waigaoqiao site serves as WuXi AppTec’s R&D headquarters, boasting 2.5 acres of synthetic and analytical state-of-the-art R&D labs with 2,000+ experienced chemists and analytical scientists.

The site offers an integrated drug discovery platform with a range of services such as Medicinal Chemistry, Library Synthesis, Custom Synthesis and Discovery Process Chemistry (DPC). The team has also built platforms including Flow Chemistry, Stable Isotope Labeling, Electrochemistry, Photochemistry, and Reaction Condition Screening.

WuXi AppTec (Tianjin) began operation in 2007. Currently, it has 18.6 acres of synthetic and analytical state-of-the-art R&D labs with around 3,100 experienced chemists and analytical scientists.

The Tianjin site houses a dedicated team who continuously strives to improve our chemistry capabilities, providing a range of services including Medicinal Chemistry, Discovery Chemistry, Library Synthesis, Custom Synthesis and Discovery Process Chemistry (DPC). The team has also built platforms such as Flow Chemistry, Bio-transformation, Electrochemistry, Photochemistry, Recrystallization Service and Catalysis Screening.

WuXi AppTec (Wuhan) began operation in 2012. Currently, it has 49.4 acres of synthetic and analytical state-of-the-art R&D labs with around 2,800 experienced chemists and analytical scientists.

The Wuhan site houses a strong team who continuously strives to improve our chemistry capabilities, providing a range of services including Medicinal Chemistry, Discovery Chemistry, Library Synthesis, Custom Synthesis and Discovery Process Chemistry (DPC). The team has also built platforms such as Targeted Protein Degrader, Fluorine Chemistry, Flow Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Photochemistry and Catalysis Screening.
